Looking for recommendations on shell routines...

Postby The Magi » May 12th, '09, 18:33

Hi Guys,

Can anyone suggest any good books or DVD's that feature good routines using shell's. I'm particularly looking for a good three fly routine using them.

Cheers guys.

Many thanks

If you get the Pat Page DVD on Topit Techniques then there is a sweet shell and pea routine included as a bonus with all of the teaching tips you could ask for.

As an alternative, take a look at Sal Piacente's Street Monte DVD - The Three Shell Game.

good luck.

ah right, can we have some clarification? I had asumed he meant Coin Shells. Which are you after? If Dat-man is right then ignore my suggest as you'll be rather let down

When I read the title yesterday, I thought it was about the three shell game, but I'm pretty sure The Magi (er, you do know that 'magi' is plural, right?) was after shell coin routines.

'Shellraiser' wasn't bad, and good value for money. You also get a shell 'free'.

Hi guys, sorry... I dunno what the hell is up with my typing lately... I did indeed mean coin routines.

PS: I thought Magi could be used as singular as well no? If not... Meh... It'll add to the mystery, as in "wow... he's loads of people" :lol:

And what about Magi's?.... Isn't that the plural? But again.... "meh".

Singular = magus
Plural = magi

Apostrophes are NEVER used to form plurals.

Well then... I think I'll live with it, but thanks for the clarification! :wink:

Covert Magic by Iain Moran(sp) has a good three fly routine. At least, in my opinion it's good. Plus it has a surprise ending.

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.
