My own site, Practice Not Included, has a few of my favorite sleights and tricks on it.

Andru has not posted anything here since July, he probably doesn't visit that often now, why don't you want to mail him the answers?

This is the strangest conversation I have ever had!

As Nickj says, if you want to gain access to Andru's site, why not simply post your answers there?

With regards to your questions. No offence, but it would appear that you are not a magician and so we would be responsible for enabling you to gain access to an area of a site that is (as far as possible) strictly for Magicians Only.

If you really want to gain access to a good site, why not visit "themagiccafe.com". They have a secret area, but you have to submit 50 posts before you get in. I feel this is fairer, since anyone can ask another Magician questions to gain access to another site, but having to make 50 posts, at least shows some commitment to the cause (I'll climb down off my soap box now!)

As I say... Hope you won't take offence.

Regards... Tony

The truth is I don't really think being a magician is if you know who invented the snap change or whatever It is your skill in sleights and in showmanship. But I do understand that this is the only way to find out on the internet. I am a Magician but I am kinda new to it all about 7 months but I practice 24-7 I am annoying people badly because I love showing tricks. I try not to take offense but I am a magicain and I love magic and I don't know every term but who does?

It is a shame that we have to be so secretive, I think the best method is the one that they use (or used to use) here, where you tell them what magic you do know rather than answering pointless questions that only show your knowledge of magical history not it's practice.
We (that is those of us left here) are always willing to help beginners just like we were helped when we were starting out, but we can't do it in public, my advice is find your nearst magic dealer and go in and chat with them about what you like to do, see if they can recommend anything to you, however, beware of anything that says 'amaze your friends and family' or 'no practice needed' as these are usually designed for people with no real interest.
If you happen to live within a reasonable distance of Kettering you could come and visit me on a Saturday at Studio 9 address and contact details are on the website. I work here on a Saturday and would be glad to help anyone who comes in. NB this is a blatent plug for our shop, it is great you even get to play with the tricks rather than just stand next to the counter asking to see things!
