He called me a liar!

Postby Replicant » May 21st, '09, 18:23

In a nutshell, I ordered something from eBay last month and never received it. 43 days after I purchased the item and paid for it, I finally got a refund (after sending him numerous messages). So I left him positive feedback, also stating that I never received my item but that I got a refund. Next thing I know, he sends me a message calling me a liar and saying that he is a "million percent" sure that I received the item that I ordered. Eh?! What the heck is that all about? He wants me to give the money back otherwise he will "block" me, whatever that means. I am not sending him any money because I did not receive my item. Does him blocking me have any detrimental effects on my eBay account? I don't want to end up on some blacklist just because this seller has gone doolally on me.

Two Words... SCREW'EM!

I've had similar experiences with eBay dealers and the amazing thing is, if I wave money under their nose, they are always willing to sell... even when they think I've done them wrong some how (which has only happened once, mind you)

I'd send a report to the Powers that Be with a copy of his email reply so as to cover yourself and possibly have him censured in some way by the management.

That's a good point Rep, I never received my Master's Time Machine.
Naturally, I demand a refund...

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism
