Actually that's the kind of thing I might well do (not being particularly confident with women myself).

But I wouldn't use a trick to procure her phone number.
I'd make sure she actually wanted to give me her number.

Ok, time for my two penneth...

I really can't understand the problem with this DVD. On one hand, what you have to remember, is that this is an educational piece, a bit on the lines of the Ammar DVDs in which it teaches easy tricks. On the other side of the educational spectrum, it also teaches how to approach people.

Ok, so lets imagine that you have no intention of going out 'on the pull' with what you have learned from this DVD. It could also be used as a confidence booster and lets face it, on so many magic forums we now get the question, 'How do you approach members of the general public?' Surely a DVD like this can only help. I've been married for more years than I care to mention but if I had a problem approaching people, this is probably something that I would still think about getting!!!

And if I weren't married I'd have already bought it... Purely for educational purposes of course!!!

Some quite interesting opinions...

Well if you have this kind of skill to go talk to a girl and then "make sure" she wants to give you her number then you definitely do not need any magic tricks ;)

An attractive woman gets maybe 10-20 approaches a day that go like this: "Hey, nice pants...You look really fantastic ... Can I get your number? (Can we go out some time?)". Guess what? you get: "no I don't date". And that's because you're not good enough. It's because she just does not have TIME to go out with 20 guys a day :))
So how do you stand out among other 20 people who approached her today?
Magic can be an ice-breaker that allows to stand out and catch a woman's attention.

Magicians are really interesting, exciting, fun and entertaining people. And it's a catch for any woman. But if you can't communicate all that during the first secodns you just won't have a second chance. So it's gonna be a lose-lose situation for both of you.
Hence, it's better to do whatever it takes to get that special woman's attention. And if it's using some magic tricks - it's great! And everybody's having fun - that's what matters.

Half a year ago I could not approach an attractive woman because I was afraid she would not even talk to me. And she would not. Why would she? I was just like the other 20 guys that approached her that day.

As I learned about dating process and how to communicate with women I was reframed big time. We all have this idea of how to date properly (expensive dinners, flowers, gifts, compliments etc. etc.) which is accepted and appropriate by society norms in almost all countries. But unfortunately it's wrong and it does not work. That was very tough to get over because that's what our mothers and fathers and teachers taught us over the years. Luckily these beleifs were reframed.

Now I can go up to a woman and have her number withing minutes. I can approach a group of several women, strike a conversation and keep them interested for like 10-15 minutes.

Do I manipulate women? I don't beleive so. I am merely having fun and allow them to have fun with me. And obviously I don't "trick" them into giving me her number.

But let me ask you something. Imaginge you take a woman on a date, you usually buy her flowers and take her into expensive restaurant, right?
Eventually you want to have sex with her, right? Or at least you like her and you maybe want her to become your girlfriend.
So what you are actually doing is manipulating her into liking you by buying her gifts and taking her out to expensive places and paying for everything. You are buying her attention and possibly sex :)
Interesting angle of view, isn't it? ;)

Anyways, the bottom line is it should not be much different for you to entertain a group of people with your magic, or one particular woman.
It's all for fun.

P.S. And if you are a great guy, who just can't get women to notice how great you are. Or you're very successful in your life but just simply don't have it together when it comes to women ... Drop me an email and I will see if I can help you out ;)

I wasn't talking of a timescale of a couple of minutes.

In my case it usually takes several months..... :?

I am just a mysterious traveller here ;) I am not gonna stay long. I have got too many things on my plate so I don't do magic right now.
But thanks for welcoming anyway.

hehe i wasnt going to contribute anything to this thread cos to be honest i think the whole "i can get into her knickers if i can just pull off this olram subtlety and classic pass move" is kinda sad but i just realised we have the perfect lady to ask her opinion....

MoM if i were to show you my entire card routine, and be honest, that would do it for you huh? you wouldnt be able to resist me right?

yeah i thought so... okok stop calling me I'm a married man

ALSO.. i cant believe this thread is still going on!?!?!?
