I guess that makes sense if you're a poker player. For me (a non poker player) I straight away assume the Ace to be a one. Do you find people automatically place it as high without blatantly telling them so, or do you come accross awkward people like me? Otherwise it greatly reduces the chance of getting right.

I personally haven't found it a problem. K.E.N.T works 9 times out of 10 for me regardless. Most people know that Ace is high in poker and even if they don't, they'll probably select a 10, J, Queen or King which is fine

It's not something I perform anymore but it's served me well.
Go out and test it. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
