American invasion of England

Postby Michael Jay » Jan 27th, '05, 18:40

Okay, here's the deal...I want to meet up with as many members here who are of a mind to put aside the fact that I'm a loud mouthed American with extremist tendencies... I shall be in England, staying in North London, Feb. 9th (okay, I'll actually be on the plane on the 9th, but you get the idea!) through March 1st. Post places for me to go (keeping in mind that I'm not rich and can't spend droves of quid to go just anywhere that I please!) and try to choose centralized positions so that various folks from various areas can join up if they wish...

9 On the plane
10 North London, recuperating from 16 hours of plane travel
11 North London
12 North London
13 North London
14 Magic Cavern - performing
15
16 London Day!
17 Magic Box
18 Chez Shrimpton
19 Whiskey Day (central London)
20 Charitable benefit for tsunami relief
21 Indesposed
22 Indesposed
23
24
25 Blackpool
26 Blackpool
27 Blackpool
28 North London
March 1st - preparing to leave, leaving!

Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible! :P

Mike.

Since I happen to know he is, rather than wait till Mike views this thread again, I thought I'd answer for him.

Not sure if I can get down South to see anything you're doing there as Feb is a very busy month at work. Even if I don't make it, hope you have a good trip over and a great stay here!

Thanks, HT, for picking that question off for me! Now I have to update the list, as I didn't put Blackpool up right off the top...

Anyway, I could make my way up North, Mandrake, for an evening of sipping a pint, if you're up to it. We put up the place and the date and anyone who can make it is free to join in - that's really what I'm trying to accomplish. I'll travel so you don't have to! :P

If you went to Birmingham, I'd sure as 'eck try and get across for it.

You'ld be more thn welcome in Ipswich too, but I guess birmingham is more central for a larger get together.
