Just read the news that David Carradine has died.

There'll be no living legends left by 2010 the way things are going! :(

Horsefeathers!!

Firstly, there's nothing 'junk' about low-budget exploitation movies. Trash, yes. But not junk! :P

Secondly, Carradine's fantabulousness can be summed up with the following:

Q: The Winged Serpent
Death Race 2000

That alone is enough to give him movie idol status in my book.

As for the rest, some will be good, some will be fun and some will be utter dross, but I'm just pleased to see how much he worked. Looks like there was never a time in which he was struggling to find a job. That's good going for any actor! :)

But the thing about Death Race that made him tops in my book was how he killed off Stallone...

I guess there won't be a Kill Bill IV then :?

Mr. Carradine was the reason I got into eastern philosophy and martial arts. His role in Kung Fu introduced me to a way of thinking that has sense then shaped my entire life.

He was an amazing Martial Artist and from all reports just an amazing guy.

I never got to meet him but I've met lots of MA people who have. I agree he was an excellent role model and thus the details of his death strike me as suspicious.

However regardless of his private life his contribution to the world will always exceed my own and for that I hope he is remembered.

Did he have a rope around his genitals or was his genitals in a wardrobe?

aparently so - which will probably mean that he's going to be remembered more for this than his films.

His family were quoted in the red tops today, saying that they think he may well have been killed by a secret kung fu gangster society or some such, because he loved researching them and exposing them.

Let me be the first to say: nice try

Might be the same lot that got Bruce Lee!

Sounds like the start of another conspiracy theory
