Hi from India

Postby Hardik » May 25th, '09, 00:44

Hi I'm Hardik Ruparel, all the way from India. I've been regularly using the extensive reviews available on this website to make my purchases, and I thought it was high time for me to join :)

I started off with card magic about 10 months back , and since the last couple of months, I'm into mentalism. FYI I haven't yet made a purchase on mentalism, but I've come up with several workable methods for original premises designed by me. Till now, I have avoided the use of billet work ( I have become familiar with the term after reading some mentalism articles online ) because I really do not know any sleights in that regard, and rely on the spectator merely keeping the thought to himself.

Anyway, Hi and I hope I can contribute to this forum constructively !

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

If you could add it to the existing Review at http://www.talkmagic.co.uk/ftopic17170.php it'll help to keep the subject focussed in one place.

Hiya Hardik, welcome to TM.

Corinda and Annemann's Practical Mental Magic both have some great info on working with billets.

Thanks Lady :D
Yes I am halfway through Anneman and my next purchase will be Corinda.. I'm through with Professional Presentations by Al Koran, then Easy to Master Mental Miracles by Richard Osterlind, PreThoughts by Banachek, and finally Desert Brainstorm Vol. 1. All this stuff is so powerful I can't do it all together !!
