Hi Don, and welcome - you might want to log in under your chosen name and perhaps put a bit of info about yourself in Profiles at some point.

All the questions you ask have answers somewhere here on TM but you'll need to Search for most of them as the threads can go on for quite some time and it's difficult to be exact as to the content of each one. You could have a look at Website: http://www.ipswichmagicalsociety.co.uk/ which will give you a list of a lot, if not all, UK Magic Clubs and see which is nearest for you. Best places to buy would depend on what you wanted to buy but www.bargainmagic.co.uk will let you check more than one online source for price and availability.

I have had a quick look, and it would seem the nearest society is the SWMA. This isn't one where I spoke to the secretary in person, so I am not sure how uptodate the information is.

How do I join this forum ?

Easy! Click on 'Register' at the top right hand side of the first page then follow the scrteen as it asks you to click to agree that you're over 13, fill in the Registration info etc. Once all this is done you should receive an e-mail advising that your registration is on file and giving a code to use on first log on. After that, you're in!

Incidently, if you get a chance could you see if they have a logo as I would love to be able to add one to the Magic Society website. So far I haven't got one for any of the Welsh Magic Societies.
