Messy Business Magic Credit Card Trick.

Effect:
Were you ever in a situation where you wanted to impress a sweet waitress in a pub, but every time she approached, you forgot your lines and your tongue got all dry? Here is the perfect solution:

When she comes over with the bill, present your credit card and point out to her the card details: the number at the bottom, the date, the different logos etc...etc.. Now turn the card face down and give it a good shake, explain that you are mixing it.

When you turn the card back up, she'll be shocked to find out that you accidentally over-mixed it; to her surprise the contents of the card will be in total disarray!

After she gets over the initial shock, just ask her for her phone number! You won't be disappointed.

Otherwise, if you get your kicks from watching your banker bounce out of his seat, I'm sure you'll have a ball with this gimmick.

Easy to master and even easier to perform
Examinable before and after the effect
Don't leave home without it!

Thus says the blurb on the ebay listing I bought this from.

Item
2 credit cards. One nice little booklet with the routine & usage.

Handling
1/5. Really easy, a minor bit of distraction called for.

Overall
I was very disapointed with this.
The great problem with magic is that you have to buy a trick to find out if it's any good. When I found this trick listed on ebay I had to know more but after scouring the web I couldn't find any reviews on it so I spent a tenner & bought it.
Wish I hadn't.
Basically it's just a switch, nothing clever about that at all.
I expected more for £10. Also the Credit Cards aren't particularly convincing.
Big disapointment.

Messy business is a awesome effect. * * * * *

Johnny Bravo I was a little disappointed at first but after giving it a shot on laymen I changed my mind. In fact I didn't stop performing it since. In restaurants, bars, shops. I even use it in my walk around performances.

Give it a shot man, you'll love this one. Don't let the simplicity of it fool you. About the card design BTW, it looks authentic in my opinion. In fact I never even once got a complain about it. The cashiers out there always run it through the machine.

To buy or not: I say BUY IT and try it on LAYMEN before making up your mind about this effect I am sure you'll all love it.

I agree with Mark on this one, the spectator sees the effect exactly as described above. The card they hold can be examined as well.

I use this all the time and the reactions from spectators is superb. Saying a trick is a waste of time just because it uses a switch is a terrible way to judge an effect.

The cards are well made and both look authentic with the raised numbers.

10/10 from me.
