An open letter of thanks

So I came to this site because it held the best reviews of tricks I was interested in.

Then I joined when I realized I was going to be exploring this seriously. I am still not sure of course if I have the fortitude to become a performer. I respect the skill level it requires to be good at this craft or any craft. I also appreciate that a bad performer can ruin what a good performer has worked so hard to do.

That being said this letter is to thank the people of this community. Every time I hit the search function I find a wealth of information specifically because its relevant to me Craig Browning a big thank you to you.

Also a thank you to everyone who asks the questions Craig is answering. I have progressed leaps and bounds in my understanding of the differences in mental magic vs mentalism, Presentation vs Effect, and that in the end you must go out and do in order to understand where you are.

Granted sometimes you could call this place a little unforgiving (I'm not mentioning names IAN...) but it puts things into perspective. Repeating the same questions and the futile perspectives you have gained as an ignorant outsider looking in.

However I don't think there is anywhere else on the net that has made this level of support available to the laymen and the obvious respect you garner once you have proven your skills.

So to the community thank you. /end warm hippie hug

P.S. I just had a moment reading through old posts where a lot of things crystallized and that was the genesis of this post.

Got to agree with you Infinite.......IAN oh sorry I mean IAIN......

This people here have helped me improve 10 fold....my first show went rather bad...I was nervous and panicky.

Then after talking to people on here and getting tips and advice I performed again 2 weeks later and I blew the crowd away...and landed myself a total of 5 bookings spread around the UK.

As infinite has said Thanks guys...with a little kiss from me....

You see what I mean now?! Even when you spell it out for people and it is also in print, they still spell it wrong!
