Just thought I'd better sign in and say a quick hello.

I've been hanging around TM for a while, reading reviews and following some of the banter etc and thought it was about time I put something back.

Been fascinated by magic ever since an encounter with a chap in Ripley's Believe it or Not in Blackpool doing the most amazing card magic I'd ever seen (didn't know it was a Svengali Deck - I was only 12 at the time). Shortly after I discovered the delights of Ellisdons via a classified ad in Exchange and Mart (the analogue equivalent of EBay for those too young to remember) and I was hooked.

My interest in magic spans most aspects from close up through mentalism, to stage and illusions. I consider myself a keen amateur and do perform from time to time, however I'm also a serious collector so I'm interested in networking with other amateurs and semi professionals as, like many others, I've also bought my fair share of 'duds' over the years.

Looking forward to sharing some insights, posting some reviews and getting to know a few folk.
