The 2nd Law Of Thermodynamics - Overturned Soon ?

Postby Hardik » Jun 17th, '09, 12:57

Some smart Americans have found their next target : The 2nd Law of Thermodynamics : Which basically states that the entropy of the universe is ever increasing with a constant rise in randomness and disorder.

They want this law overturned !

Check it out here :

Any comments ? I'm actually not surprised. ( I mean No Offense to any group/religion/society ... but this is plain ridiculous .. at least in my opinion)

Calm yourself. It's The Onion. It's satire. Quite funny, though.

Yes, I am aware. But the scary thing is they have a Facebook group, they've planned events and it looks as realistic as it can get :)
One guy from the group emailed me saying that they're determined to put a stop to all this nonsense ! And he asked me to join .. :D .. Me, as an engineering science student ?

On the subject of satire and religious fundamentalism, I love this site.

Please note that the content of this site is probably not work-friendly, and is certain to offend the hard-of-thinking.

For the ultimate in religious... well see for yourself.

Go to google and type, "Science is wrong." (I'll post the link for those not in the US I am not sure if international googles return the same results)

http://www.truechristian.com/dinosaurs.html

I won't say any more than well just read it.

So when it was found and given to me. Everyone decided that he was probably suffering from some sort of developmental disorder.

They also concluded that it was funny but somewhat sad.

I concluded it was HYSTERICAL and I wanted to party with that guy. Eventually I stuck with it reading the site marveling at its audacity while everyone else got board and moved on.

I found the truth behind the site and its ultimately Satirical. The man who runs it does it for the soul purpose of drawing in the people who believe in this and suckering them into counter points to theological believes.

It is clearly a work of genius.

They've got a dinosaur enhibition!

And all the creationist sites you see these days talk about dinosaurs having been in the Garden of Eden, and rescued on the Ark.

Fifty years ago fundamentalists were claiming that dinosaurs never existed, and fossils were just a practical joke played by God to test our faith.

Isn't is amazing just how much creationism has evolved? :)
