Hi all,

Does anyone perform this effect? I am not sure what I am doing wrong, but 80% of the time the card flies off the pack to the side instead of just 'popping' up to the top.

Perhaps it's the band I am using - I don't know, but would be grateful for any feedback of other talkmagicers that do this effect. PM me - thanks!

It sounds like the rubber band your are using is to tight, try a larger size?

Size 16, latex free rubber bands are perfect.

There is a discussion on the following link (scroll down about half way)

Hi Bill,

Just started practicing this effect as a conclusion to a short 3-phase ACR.

I would say with 99% certainty it's the rubber band you're using! Try Staples, they have an awesome selection...cheap too!
