Events for hard northerners?

Postby Wishmaster » Jun 18th, '09, 20:26

Hi all,

I'm sick of all these softy southern, flat beer types having all the fun and posting about their posh events in this forum. :P

Is there anything going on in the north, from Nottingham(ish) upwards? I want to go to one of Paul's seances or a Day of Magic or anything, but can't travel too far due to family commitments. I'm easily pleased and would even pay money. Anyone? There must be summat going on that's worth a visit!

Ta,
Wishmaster

I'd be in for doing something up North, particularly where there's a decent pint to be had.

Well hopefully we'll be doing another one later in the year too, also I'm in Bridlington in September and I'll be doing my theater show and trying to cheat death again in Worksop later in the year.
I always post my shows on here so keep your eyes peeled :D

Is the date set for Brid. I'm moving up to Scarborough in September, so I'd be on for coming to see it if it's later in the month.

There is the Ferrybridge day of magic coming up on July 5th. John Archer lecturing. Details are part of the way down the page.

I'm in Nottingham on 17th July with "celebrity medium" Ian Lawman. This one should be good - and you get fed too.

Thanks for all the info.

July in Nottingham is a possibility, and I definitely want to come to Worksop at some point. :D

pcwells - I'd love to come to Edinburgh. One of my favourite places in the world. Make sure you visit Mary King's Close while you're there. It is an amazing experience. You wouldn't believe what's hiding under the streets of Edinburgh!
