TWisting Effects

Postby El Enielator » Feb 22nd, '05, 06:07

What Twisting the Aces variants are available on books/DVDs, and which ones are the best?

I only know of the original, the Asher Twist, the Maxi Twist - I'm particularly interested in Larry Jenning's variations of the classic plot.
Please give me some help

Thank you

There's a wonderful book by Paul Hallas called "Small but Deadly", and it contains a history of a lot of packet style effects - such as twisting the Aces.

Although it doesn't go into methods it does describe in detail what each effect is - who came up with it who performed it etc. It is in short one of my favourite books in my library.

So that is a good book to start - after saying all that I don't have the book with me at the moment - but when I get a chance I will let you know what SBD says about "twisting the aces" - possible the ultimate kata for practiicing the EC...
