So I completely forgot about this amazing resource until like today. I remember that I had Username but didnt know the PW so after reseting I am back.
About me:
Im 19 and enjoy am into mostly card tricks that do not require any sort of gimmick and that do not really require awkward pre-setups (aka things where you have to arrange a lot of cards before hand). I started learning basic magic in about 4th grade and then really picked it back up Senior year of high school. Favourite tricks I can do are Wayne Houchins "Invisible Palm" and the old classic where you have 4 guesses to find someones card and eventually it winds up it is the one the are holding ( i have never really know what its called so i call it "is this your card"). My inspiration to learn magic came when i was about 10 or 11 and saw a magician do the Pom-Pom trick where they manipulate the lengths of the string "according to pulling on the other one." I remember being so amazed by it at that age that I never really wanted to know how it was done because it reminds me of why I do magic. (I ended up looking it up a few months ago, 9 years after seeing it.)

Right now I love entertaining people a Fraternity partys/mixers because the best audience (i think) is one who is slightly inebriated because you can still do the trick but you have a bit of wiggle room for errors which makes for great practice.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
