Iv played with levitaions for many years and my main offput was that there was always a get ready before and after Levition is performed.

Which was always difficult and unatural to do..

Tarantula helps provide a quick and simple method to perform many different and complex levitations, in a natural and clean manner.
The gimmick its self is somthing that takes time to get used too but has a natural amperance..

The tarantula is one of the worst products I have ever bought.

Use a reel-less (if that makes any sense) IT hook up and you will achieve about 90% of the material shown in the trailer. Thats one of the biggest cons about the trailer... You don't need a reel for most of the stuff he teaches.

I would say DO NOT buy this item, just learn about using IT or even loops. If your a real world working professional you cannot have even the slightest doubt about a trick you perform, and thats all you will get with the tarantula. To be fair there was only one effect shown in the entire DVD that I would use in a real world performance setting.... and there is no way it's worth the price of the tarantula.

I will never get caught with something like this again. Spend your money on anything but this.

I've been playing with this for about a month now. It is a fantastic gimmick. I find it quite sturdy and have taken it apart and put it back together just to see if I could and its really simple and user friendly. However it you buy it thinking this is going to make you a miracle worker think again. No trick is going to that, that particular responsibilty is yours not the tricks.

I've always used the fearson Hook up. This only makes it two hundred times better! Why? Because you don't have to deal with all that the hook up entails. It is there when I want it, and its not there when I don't want it, no fuss no muss.
