The Bicycle Guarantee overseas

Postby townleystreet » Jul 7th, '09, 07:03

I'm not sure if this it the right place to post this, but anyway, I bought a red pack of bicycles the other day and about 1/4 of the Ace of hearts had been cut off!

Now they aren't the cheapest cards, especially not over here in the land of the rising sun, so I was wondering whether the guarantee applies even if I'm not in the USA.

Any advice is appreciated!

I don't know what your laws are like, but in the UK if you buy something that's faulty, anything it's the shop's responsibility to replace the item ot offer a refund. Why not contact where you got them from and ask if they'll replace them for you?

Perhaps an e-mail to USPCC to let them know about the problem and ask how they can help you out?

Thanks for all the advice, including the alternate place to purchase them. I had been paying from 500 to 630 yen per packet, which is pretty steep.

I have emailed USPCC, and I'll post here to let others know how it goes.

Just to let everybody know that I emailed USPCC and they do cover card bought overseas! Very decent of them. Just post the faulty card(s) along with the ace of spades to the address on the joker card!
