That was an interesting read. Thanks Dale.
It's very clever how they play with perception using depth of field tricks to make it look much bigger than it really is. It must have been an awful job to clear it up at the end of filming.
Neverending Story was one of those novels I couldn't put down, but I couldn't get into the film. Was it really 1983? I must be older than I thought!

and a third movie and a tv series. I love all these fantasy movies. CGI really hasn't managed to do creatures as well as the costumes made for these movies. There is a reamake of the neverending story lined up for 2012.
