Anyone knows how to vanish this?

Postby Contrabass101 » Jul 13th, '09, 23:59

My roomie left a piece of bread in the cupboard over the holiday.

It turned out, that it was a less than stellar idea, as the bread was covered in mold when I returned (he is still on holiday).

I threw it out immediately, but now the cupboard has a foul smell to it. I have tried cleaning it with soap and with alcohol, but the smell is still there.

There is no visible spot, but the smell seems to be particularly strong in one small area.

May not be the obvious place to ask, but if anyone knows a cool sleight, or can kill the mold using mind bullets, please share :)

I agree with the bleach suggestion. At the very least, it will smell more of bleach then it will do of gunk.

white wine vinager, and lemon juice.
the vinager will kill off the remaining spores, and the lemon juice will freshen the cupboard.
also, a bowl containing dry baking soda will absorb the smell.

rather like odour eaters do in your shoes.

you're like Yoda.you dont say much, but what you do say is worth listening to....

you will need a crate of beer upon succesfully drinking this attempt to stand on the side and fart several times (in the drunken state you manage to find continuous fart from somewher when required) and or burb into the cupboard...next time yousniff you will be unable to smell the mold.

Oh so many ways, try urine if you take a pee in there and leave it the smell will over power the mould or you could crimp a length off in there that would cover the smell. Other choice would be to place a small dead animal like a mouse or rat in there.
failing that some mould and mildew spray would do the job, I think detol do one comes in a green bottle and works wonders.
