Just been on another forum that I haven't visited for a while. Because I've not been there in a while I needed to log in. On the username box I double-clicked expecting my username to appear. Instead about 6 usernames (including my own) appeared. All of the other usernames were names used by people here on TM! No passwords were associated with the "saved" usernames - it was just the names that the OS had saved. I was (am) using Chrome.
Has Chrome saved the usernames of posts on TM?? Or has someone hacked my PC, harvested the usernames and tried to log on to sites with them... or something along those lines?? Very weird. Me no understand.
Perhaps it's the government or the Masons.
EDIT: I should add that this phenomena only appears to occur on the one particular forum. Tried logging out of TM and logging back in to see if the same thing happened, but it didn't.

It's almost certainly to do with the name label of the input box on the ppage. The other usernames you'll have entered (almost certainly in a search box) at some time or other.

Its called "Auto-Complete"
You can typically clear them out through options and settings depending on your browser.
Now that the browser knows what auto complete answer is to that field it won't display all the other ones.
