Sat Nav bad signal

Postby themagicwand » Jul 16th, '09, 22:46

Is it just me, or have other people been suffering with a bad satnav signal today? Have one of our satellites gone missing? Have the Ruskies sabotaged it? Or is it something to do with the Space Shuttle?

Seriously, three bars out of five max all day, with the satnav losing a signal completely at several points, leaving me driving around Bradford completely lost.

Yes, I know, learn to read a map and you'll never get lost. But I haven't got a map. I've got a satnav. Perhaps it's the aliens in a manner similar to Independence Day? They're using our own satellites against us!!!

I work in Bradford. Not the easiest place to navigate even with a good signal. There are lots of new roads and my TomTom gets confused.

Give me a shout next time :D

Get yersel' across border into a reight county, that be Lancashire .... aye

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

I'm not sure I understand the question to be honest.

I was working on the kids ward at the Royal Infirmary. I did Pinderfields in the morning, then over to Bradford in the early afternoon.

The satnav had a wobble again today, but this time it was while coming over the Snake from Manchester to Sheffield, so perhaps that's to be expected.
