Heard a lot of good things, I have his previous set and can only say I'm sure you will not be disappointed.

It would take too long to give a detailed review, but I would unreservedly recommend these DVDs. Practical, nothing too difficult, but would take considerable experience to present them anywhere near as well as Richard does (this is not a drawback).

Not exactly my words, however its exactly what id say

"A lot of classic mental effects presented by a true master. Most really ARE easy to master, and, as usual with Osterlind, you get great tips on how to present the effect, not just how to do the trick. Osterlind and the host, Jim Sisti, work brilliantly together at helping you to understand then psychology behind a lot of effects. If you want to get into mentalism there's no better place to start."

I concur. Great stuff, especially for beginners such as myself.

Yep - I agree. Very good, easy to do, practical effects. I have only watched the first in the series so far - but I'm impressed. Definitely stuff I'll use.

I finally got round to watching these a couple of weeks ago and I've already performed a couple of the effects in front of magicians and they went across pretty well.

The only criticism I'd have is that Richard sometimes slips in some other stuff, such as a couple of bits of cold reading, and he doesn't refer to this in the explanations section. I don't expect him to be able to detail how it works, but it would have been nice if he'd commented that he'd done something extra.

While most people who do mentalism will spot this immediately, there will be people going for this as an initial foray into this sort of performing and might not get the 'real work' which turns a method into a really effective performance.
