What really makes me laugh, is when i working there seemed to be a sudden rise in street magic, and street magicians.

A few years later and there has been a rise in bearded, mentalists.

Just wondering whats next?

Floppy haired, eyelined, cross and chained wearing magicians. Doing stage illusions on the street.

Is it me or is changing dollar bills to 100 dollar bills and letting your audience keep them one of the best endings to that trick (providing you have a big tv budget to spend, of course). Screw a signed card as a momento!

I thought his show was infinitely better than Derren's. Really enjoyable.

No, for me the rent-a-mob specs made it very hard to watch. Some good stuff and at least one very recognisable coin bending dingus in use!

Seeing as everything he (Blaine) did is commercially available, could anyone tell me the name of the dancing coin in ashtray thing he did with the mobile phones?

It was about the only thing I hadn't seen before, and I rather liked it.

Not everything he does is on the market. He usually will do one or two things that most people could learn, and then a few things that are underground.

I think the coin effect is an underground routine.

Agreed sir. How cool to see Blaine back on the street having it the apple side of orange. Thought the bullet ' catch ' was a rather pointless exercise, but the rest was splendid.

He performs for people in need of some entertainment, which not only wins the watching public over, but gets great reactions too.

The dart trick was very nice, the coin bend was very good if not a bit...over explained, and the "cell phone radiation" one was really quite fun.

The Bullet Catch, whilst no bullet was strictly caught, was very Blaine and very fun to watch.

One thing that did mildly confuse me was to go from the Double Punch from Kimbo Slice, which was very impressive, to a very average card trick. He got his routine the wrong way round!

This was a brilliant special and more like the Blaine of old - awesome!

Did I enjoy it more after that lacklustre Derren show? Perhaps, but still hugely entertaining and I was genuinely anxious during the bullet catch segment.

David was the reason I got into magic and I've always been a fan. People don't give him the credit he truly deserves.

It was edgy, cool and inspiring.

I agree - great visual effect.

I don't think I've ever seen a card reveal like that before either. Anyone here know if this is re-visted classic effect?

I realise that this might not help very much, but I am reasonably sure that this worked, in exactly the way you think it works. :)

all you need to do is re- watch it a couple of times.

you're like Yoda.you dont say much, but what you do say is worth listening to....

True - I must admit I had spotted the p*** from the H***z****r spread, which lead me to assume.....maybe I should employ the old 'freeze frame' button my DVD remote. Cheers Dale.
