NINJA + (and an evening with Mathew Garrett!!!!!!)

An evening with Mathew Garrett:

So at 19:15 last night, The Magic Club Of Great Britain had the pleasure in welcoming back Mathew Garrett…He was one of the first Magicians to demo back at the Club almost ten years ago.

Review: NINJA +

http://www.ninjaplus.com/

Mathew began the evening with his full Close-up performance, which was in one word STUNNING…he is truly a master of what he does. He had the club set up with a restaurant table for some of us to sit at, as if we were real spectators (this allowing us to see both sides of the performance).

After a highly polished 15 minute set he then went onto lecture on his performance (which without spoiling it to much, was some rather sexy ambitious cards and some superb productions and vanishes…) He then nailed it with his new handling of his new effect Ninja +. This being a plugin almost to the original Shoot Ogawa's Ninja Rings whom by the way was rather pleased when Mathew showed him this….Mathew has been working on this effect for a good 18 months and has really taken the Ninja Rings concept to a whole new level…With Ninja + a finger ring is linked and unlinked from a Ninja ring…even a spectator ring can be linked…and beautifully the ring can even be handed out much to the disappointment of the spectator that there is no gap!!! In the ring….(THIS STUMPED ME SOMEWHAT)

His routine is a blend of traditional Ring handling mix with some rather sexed up moves that Mathew has added…The Ninja Rings are retailing at around £40 (I hope I got that right) and there is also a DVD crammed pack with Mathew doing so many moves your eyes go funny just watching…I think the DVD is around £10-£15 if memory serves me correctly….all the details can be found through Mathews website…

If you’re a fan of the original Ninja Rings, then this is definitely going to be in your routine..and if you arnt a fan of Rings then you will be after seeing this…I can defo see this being up there for 08/09 close-up effect awards…

Skill level involved differs obviously depending on what routine you do…Mathew includes a begginers routine to get you performing as soon as possible…but seriously the dvd is rammed full of stuff…

Unfortunatley due to a lack of funds, I could not purchase this last night, all the rest of the club did as they went like hot cakes…Maybe that nice gent Mathew will get wind of my superb review and I might find one appearing at my doorstep ; )…….Anyway people don’t take my word for it check them out yourself at

GO DO IT NOWWWWWWWWWW……its ace

Oh and Mathew said he would be doing lecture at Clubs so get your club to book him…you wont be disappointed with his lecture, like I said its close-up at its best….

I'd like to see this tied in with the Ninja Ring routine and must the rings be ditched into a side pocket?

The routine is awsome with lots of moves from begginer to skill levels.

The dvd is great everything is included and well explained. The whole effect can be adapted to suite the perfromer and is very visual indeed with lots of strong moments. Matthew lectured at are club on thursday night and everyone has been talking about this since.

The lecture is great touching on lots of aspects including mentalism, close up, manipulations and so much more.

I suggest booking Matthew for your clubs next lecture and buying ninja + as soon as possible, a great guy, a fantastic lecture and a brilliant routine.

Do it now,

Lee.

Me and Matthew are off to Northampton Magic Club tonight, and taking the lecture along with us.

This trick cannot be bumped up enough guys. Its a serious must buy. Even the packaging is worth the £49 in itself!!!

The trick is now available in spanish also, so for those south americans out there! Look out!!!

The lecture which I have seen before, is defeniatly worth booking, or going along to see, because you learn so much from it. Starting with the ambitious card routine, which matthew has clearly mastered to a fine degree, then finishing with the ninja+ routine.

Truely amazing!

Well have a good night Sean and say hello to Matthew for me.

And as already stated Matthews Lecture is well worth booking for your next club, lots of great info and a good chance to see Ninja + performed first hand.
