Arguably perhaps but my friends the late Val Andrews & the late Terri Rogers always swore by
Geoff Felix,
111, Raglan Court,
Empire Way,
Wembley Park,
Middlesex. HA9 ORG
You will have to check if this is still his address.
They also, when visiting my home, mentioned
W. Botley, 13, Eynsham Drive, Abbey Wood, London SE29 QX.
This because one time I considered getting a new figure. My first doll, 'Nutty', who looks like Arthur Prince's 'Jim', had been with me since 1945, when my parents bought him second hand. He even played Opportunity Knocks with Hughie Green in 1949 at Dudley Hippodrome. Hughie then invited us onto the OpK's programme, in 1950 on Radio Luxembourg.
However Nutty soldiered on till my wife created another partner (Joe Soap) from a Rugrats puppet. Much lighter, but Joe too has, in the past 4 years been replaced by the Axtell Talking Picture.
And, stupidly,in 1968, I gave away, to a would be 14 year old vent, a Len Insull figure bought from Davenports!!!!!!!!!!!
You might also send for the Vent catalogue, from The Maher Studiios, PO Box 420, Littleton Colorado, 80160-0420 USA
