Is it just me, or is Trick of the Mind Series 3 not available to buy on DVD? Anyone know why?

Looks like it's a Channel 4 decision, Rep - there's a petition here, from folks trying to get them to change their minds: http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/derr ... index.html

Thanks, Rob. Seems like an odd decision on Channel 4's part. Why on earth would they not want to release this series? Must be legal matters going on that we're not aware of.

unless they are planning a box set, and want something new to sell.
I do seem to recall that it was a bit strange.

Some of the effects didnt come across as good as others. Remember the dream thing with sheep?
Luke came up with that one, and at the time i felt disturbed more than entertained.( and wasnt Zombies also in series 3?)

Presumably this is where some of the trick or treat ideas stemmed from.

Hmm, doubtful. If it was just money they want, they would have released the third series and then six months later release the box set. A few months after that, they could release the special collector's edition box set. And then a year later release the special collector's edition box set with a bonus disc. And so it goes on.

Quoted for truth; Channel 4 is secretly owned by George Lucas and Peter Jackson

I'll hang on for the 25th anniversary edition where they bring the special effects up to date.

I missed a couple of the episodes so I downloaded it from iTunes recently. All his Channel 4 backcatalogue is on their and I'm pretty sure you can watch it all for from through 4oD.

The best bits of his original DVD's were the extras and the commentarys but on the latest stage shows and the box set of his specials (which didn't include Messiah!) we haven't had the fun of listening to him and various members of his crew and family tell knob jokes and slag each other off.

Does anyone remember the curious incident of the missing Mind Control(I think it was was mind control, anyway.) episode. It was 3 or 4, just disappeared of the face of the internet.
