My name is Chris and I'm 19. I used to be heavily into magic about three years ago but (as, I suspect, with so many others) that simply entailed buying lots and lots of packet tricks, and spending very little time with each of them (I'm afraid I was struck down with CUPS at an early age
, all the more pronounced for not having worked for the money 
). I never dedicated enough (read: any) time to learning sleight-of-hand which I consider to be a major reason for my interest in the art waning.
I've recently got back into magic and am looking for a fresh start. The packet tricks have, for now, been shelved and I'm waiting on my delivery of Modern Coin Magic and Royal Road so I can finally develop my sleight-of-hand skills (which will, I believe, make even those packet tricks so much more effective).
I'm looking forward to becoming a part of this community; that is, if you'll have me.
