Good Morning - my name is Lewy, i registered a couple of weeks ago and forgot about it but found myself browsing here again last night and now i am back.
I'm into some magic and mentalism although alot of effects don't interest me - i prefer mentalism because it has much more feeling to it and a better effect.
I practice, but i don't perform much, i started out with card magic whilst waiting for my reading ticket to arrive the summer before last (long story, but it got sent to the wrong address, so i missed half of the first day lol) and managed to learn some good sleight of hand which is now quite perfected.
I am probably Derren Brown's biggest fan since he was the first person i knew who did this stuff and is therefore my inspiration.
I am a amateur poker player and am just starting to dabble with playing blackjack - [i wonder why]
I don't like how people reveal lots worthwhile sleights/tricks because a lot of the people they are revealed TO are probably just going through a phase, but also cos it takes quite a lot of digging and research to learn them yourself and then it seems a waste of effort to see people just giving it away to others who can't be f****d to search themselves. NOT cos im over patriotic about "keeping magic secret" or something cos the main secret to magic is... YOU TRICK PEOPLE.
Enough of that though.
i look forward to browsing and contributing to this site in the future and since im not a complete beginner i am willing to help people out with certain things if they ask!
