Harry Lorayne's Halo Cut

Postby Lenoir » Oct 6th, '08, 20:33

Somebody please tell me what it is! What it looks like and where I can learn it!

I have heard extremely positive things over at the cafe.

"I want to do magic...but I don't want to be referred to as a magician." - A layman chatting to me about magic.

The fake viagra stands straight when it's poured out

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

It's a way of swing cutting the cards across and retaining the bottom card.

Check out the omega mutation by Cameron Francis I think he teaches it on there.

For a mere £2 from certain magic suppliers, you can pick up the December 2007 issue of Genii. Harry Lorayne has a regular column and this month he describes his HALO cut and a neat trick to accompany it. It's probably my most (over)used move..... love it!!

I learned it from his Best Teacher Ever vol. 1. It also teaches several neat routines using the cut.

Currently Reading "House of Mystery" (Abbott, Teller), Tarbell, Everything I can on busking
