I come by to greet you again ... you may have met me before!

Postby Kryzal » Oct 5th, '09, 00:26

Greetings to all at talkmagic. I have been here many years and used to actively talk to you all (I don't use words like "post"). I was considered by some to be strange, by some to be funny, by some to be odd. I am happy to accept all descriptions for I am Kryzal and I am me. I have been away in body which is becoming weaker with age. But I have been here in spirit and wishing all my old friends (and those I have yet to meet) well. I am pleased to see that some remain and I am saddened to see some have gone. I have been to the wizards in the west (if you know who they are) and I have been further educated (yes, even at my age) and made friends with a bear of amazing character. I hope for three things; 1. to bring joy and wonder to the world before I depart it. 2. to help others to continue my work and dreams when I do depart. 3. not to depart to soon! I sometimes talk in what seems to be riddles but are plain to me and those that know me. I am happy to talk to all who wish to talk to me. I may be able to teach - I may be able to learn. My greatest joy is to learn. Who knows; one day I may be led into the secret places of this portal! We may discuss Corinda who was my friend. I wish you all well and offer only one piece of advice from my advanced years to all the young starters in this field - if you choose this route be sure you choose wisely for you have a duty to bring joy and wonder - don't "do tricks" for there really is true magic if you seek it - would you steal the wonder and smile of a child? I wish you all love and will quietly return. Kryzal x

A reply to myself!

Postby Kryzal » Oct 5th, '09, 00:54

Apologies to all. I feel I must reply to myself to add a little information in order to alleviate consternation from some years ago. My avatar! There are those who have (not in this forum) commented that it represents devil worship. Oh, pish and tush! If you all hate it I will change it (maybe). It is a pentacle - not a pentagram. That is, it is pentagram enclosed by a circle. It represents protection, safety, security. In other words, despite my strange missives, I never mean any harm and wish you all well. But it is upside-down with the devils horns upward. It is this that has been criticised as representing the devil. If it offends, I will remove it (maybe) but please don't judge without knowledge. The points of the pentacle are merely representatons of Spirit, Earth, Fire, Air and Water. I show Spirit as downward simply because I believe that we are all here to lift the spirit of those that are down (or become famous famous and make loads of money in which case you are damned!). Make of it what you will. I didn't invent the devil and he had no horns until fairly recent times. I just wish you all love and hope some will want to learn the true way to make life a success. Badly worded but I will be happy to explain that to one that cares to understand. Much love. Kryzal x

My thanks!

My thanks go to those who have replied to me - and to those who have, maybe, yet to do so. I am humbled to be remembered. I am, I admit, of advancing years and, as a consequence, feel that I have some things to say before I depart. I do not fear for I will return!
I am rather "different" I know. I do not mind in the least the term "bonkers" so bless you, my friend! I choose not to use the terms "post" or the strange cartoon faces called "emoticons". It is my choice and maybe I am wrong - it has been known before. But I am Kryzal - I am me.

I found this place many years ago because you all claim to discuss magic. My old years say a few things about this so bear with me if you wish. I have learned that there is true magic (not majick - although I have some knowledge - or "tricks"). I ask of you all, especially the young ones, do not dismiss true magic because you have bought a gimmicked set of cards for example and believe you now know "the secret". We can all do that for pennies. Look inside yourselves very, very long and very hard. What is true magic? You can all find easily it if you look to yourselves for long enough. I am happy to help if I can but, of necessity, I sometimes talk in riddles to make you think inside. No roads are easy in life - but some lead somewhere.
Again I ask - what is true magic?
Bless you all. If you have skill or knowledge - use it wisely. Please feel free to talk to the "bonkers" old man if you wish. I may answer! I may question! I may disagree. I may learn from you!
