Coin in bottle

Considering getting a folding coin. One thing I'm curious about though...

Can you get it out the bottle without smashing the bottle?

Cheers

Yep! There are routines for this item in many books and magic manuals and they usually suggest how to remove the coin. Basically it's a swift downward motion then suddenly stopping to make to coin continue the journey when, hopefully, the gimmick does the necessary and your coin is free once more! Don't forget to hold the other hand ready to catch it though.....

Yes, you can get it out as Mandrake says.

But, imho, smashing the bottle is MILES better an ending.

Health and safety concerns aside, as a piece of theatre, it's great.

Nick Einhorn sells everything you need (apart from the bottle) for a great coin in bottle routine, drop him an e-mail, I am sure he will be pleased to help you out!

I agree ... much more fun to smash the bottle ... have a cloth bag and a hammer ... plenty of time to switch and NO-ONE wants
to rumage through your bag to see if there's an extra coin! Plenty of fun to be had with fake severed fingers and blood!! And you can juggle the broken bottle as a finale!!

I'd definatly get a 3-fold if you don't want to smash the bottle though, much simpler to get out ... otherwise the two fold is fine!

In true Kryzal fashion I'm afraid since I prefer to be asked directly ... have you ever been fishing and caught a pike? Did you want to retrieve the hook without losing your fingers to its bite? Here lies your simple answer! Kryzal xx
