Insurance covered it thankfully. I just had to word it carefully what happened

I just realised the shoe print might be mine, when I decided to see how easy it would be to climb....

Ha! Be careful you don't end up getting arrested for insurance fraud.

Excellent! And you should get new for old. I did. So I got a shiny new laptop to replace my 2 year old one. Hope you have as much luck!

You didn't live it open did you? Tsk, students. Textbook. Hope your insurance coughs up anyway.

They don't even need to get in for laptops half the time. People leave their laptops charging with the lead dangling across the room; a long thin pole with a hook on the end, a bit of patience and/or practice on the Scunthorpe prize claw machines and bob's your uncle. Just like fishing, really... :?

Glad your insurance covers the loss, Chris, but it's still horrible to think someone's been in your home.

*sigh* you got me ;)

Nah, I just used my phone

So insurance paid out, getting a laptop next week :)

Currently using the girlfriend's laptop, as she loves me so and would do anything to please ;)

I'm annoyed that I have lost half of my stage show along with some other stuff, but hey ho life goes on :)

Love
