Only because they were singing Chas and Dave.

No other reason at all.

We had a bomb alert one day and even that didn't stop some of them. "What do you mean there's a bomb on the train?! I need to get to work!"

It was an interesting experiment, but I'm not sure how valid it was in that environment.

Hahaha

The tube is one of the things I love about London.

"There's another half empty tube in 2 minutes? Sod that I am going to try and cram myself at the last microsecond through the half closed doors on to this already over full train thanks."

This is a good example of the high speed world we seem to live in. I think there is a valid point to be had about buskers being avoided (largely because people feel guilty if they listen and then contribute nothing) but also because nobody has the time. I quite like listening to music and will try and find the time to stop and listen to someone but as some have said below, people are not generally in a busy station unless they need to get somewhere. I would probably be the guy who stood listening for a few minutes before suddenly realising I was late and running off. It would be nice if people had more time for each other, unfortunately the modern world leaves very little scope for this.

I wasn't joking about the Tube comment; it happens a lot. People are mental. Image

I do not doubt it.

I remember when they grounded all the flight after they had that terrorism scare and the news were interviewing people exclaiming it was "outrageous" and this was eating in to their valuable holiday time.

Get a grip people.
