Thats a very good point Ted. Many magicians tend to overlook this effect for some reason, maybe because its usually one of the first the novice learns, or maybe its seen as too easy, i dont know. I suppose it can sometimes be hard to see an effect from the spectators point of view rather than looking at it as a magician. In my opinion 'Do as i do' is probably one of the best self workers thats possible with a deck of cardsTed wrote:A long time ago, when I performed a Do As I Do effect (from the Hugard book) for my old Mum, who is about as cynical and sceptical as they come, she said, "Bloody hell." This followed a number of other effects, to be fair, but for me that proved that a self-worker can do the business.
