Has anyone seen this, not sure if it has been shown in the UK? IMDB says it was made in 2006.

My father-in-law lent me season 1 and I really liked it.

Need season 2 now.

If it's the one about the Kansas town after nuclear strikes then it has been shown in the UK on one of the Sky channels, I once set a reminder for it and forgot so never actually saw the programme, sorry! (Not to be confused with the BBC series of the same name staring Robert Lindsay where all the characters seemed to chainsmoke!)

That's the puppy.

The only thing I have disliked about it (apart from the screaming inaccuracies you would expect from any show like this) is the "Where have I seen them before?" game with the cast.

Recongisable but you cannot think from what.

I read some reviews of it a while back and it seemed to be well received although one reviewer drew unfair comparisons with the re-made version of BBC Survivors serial, plague instead of nuclear strikes and the way survivors 'adapt or die' type of thing.

I do not watch much TV so have nothing to really compare it too.

What I do like is that although the main cast are recognisable, it's not to the extent that you lose conviction in the story. I do not think it would have worked if you had really big names in it. The episode lengths are just right too at a little under 45 minutes. Any longer and it would have felt a bit much but any less and it would not have been engaging enough.

I'm just waiting to get home so I can check Love Film for season 2.
