Yes indeed. He seemed to think that'd he'd briefly worked with Bernie in the early nineties during the very short run of Uncle Bernies magic playtime at cbbc. Before the scandal.
He also mentioned he was glad that a magician of the calibre of Bernie Butterworth was back in showbusiness

aw...wasn't that nice of him...he was a great guy, really glad he came along...

if The Beacon could invite him again, that would be lovely...

i think i may try and gently force a couple of friends of mine who aren't in the trade to come along to the next one...

who's brave enough to go and invite Sadowitz along?

14th could be good for me and I might even be able to make a mid-weeker.

I am Dj'ing on Halloween Evening 31st Oct. at Corbets bar although there is a rumour that Bernie Butterworth may usurp my position and take over.

I hope not.

Do you think that there is any possibility that Bernie might make a showing at one of our shindigs? I've never met the guy but from the video you produced for him, I got the impression that he would be quite at home in a badly-lit bar. I don't know the full details of history though so maybe he tries to steer clear of places of ill-repute to try to preserve his reputation.

I'm not sure Mr. Butterworth would ever lower himself to attend one of our meets.
I could ask him and hope he doesn't hit me again

It's true that Bernie can be a pain at times and quite demanding as a client but the rumours we cannot stand each others company is quite untrue.

So the 14th Novemebr it is then. It'll be nice to see you again Mr. Bellars although can you not twist my melon so much this time with that reset to pocket thing....I needed a lie down afterwards

I'll be along.
