On the front page under Mentalists Only is the info you need:
An invitation only area where we can discuss Mentalism - but, of course, you knew that. Access to the Mentalist Area will be granted to members who have shown a basic knowledge of Mentalism together with quality contributions elsewhere on TalkMagic. Access is only granted by the Moderators and please note that asking for access really isn't the best way to do things.
