Hi, my names Adam I'm 28 and I live in Bristol(UK).
I'd like to start by thanking the members of the forum for their excellent reviews and tips which I have already spent many hours perusing while "Lurking" anonymously .
I was recently inspired to turn a long time casual interest into a desire to perform myself after watching a loose acquaintance perform tricks in a bar . He had everyone ,especially me enthralled, baffled and above all highly entertained. I was desperate to see more and made a trip the following night to Illusions Bar in Bristol(highly recommended if your in the area) . the performers I saw where on another level and i knew I had to learn this skill for myself. while I'm generally a humble person I have a flamboyant streak and love people and enjoy making them laugh & smile .
After extensive research I ordered myself a copy of "Royal Road To card Magic" which seams to be somewhat of a rite of passage for any aspiring magician and a pack of Bycyles and have hardly put either down since they arrived.
While I was not blessed with the natural talents required for magic (I have giant clumsy sausage fingers and an almost esp like ability to knock over any drink in a room ) I have the desire and motivation to become the best i possibly can. I am currently trying to decide which trick to buy first but cant make my mind up . there's just so much out there

Professional inspirations include Lenart green , Kockov and sorry if mainstreams frowned upon but I also love Derran Brown for the fact that the more he tells people he's a magician and an entertainer the more they think he's some kind dark ,real world wizzard.

I have been to illusions a few times as my dads family live in Bristol and must say each time me and my fiancee visit there we are entertained.
