I was looking at the reviews and whatnot for this DVD - this is certainly going in my next order.

One thing - does the Ambitious card routine use blank-blank cards or blank-front (coloured back) cards?

Thanks!

Kati

It uses double blank cards. It's a very good effect, as is the rest of the DVD. A review can be found here http://www.talkmagic.co.uk/ftopic2146.p ... asteboards or through the search feature at the top of the page. Wonderful little tool that.

Ah...does it come with the cards I need, or should I buy a double-blank deck off penguin?

Goldfish: I already found the review o_0. It just says that it uses a blank deck, so I wanted to know whether I need to buy the blank deck or whether it comes with it.

aha, in thats case, then yes I'm afraid you will have to buy a blank deck as it's just a DVD.

And just out of interest why has my original post been edited? A double sided blank deck isn't tipping anything, its simply stating what it is.

Mods feel free to PM me with an answer.

Kati

Did you buy this in the end and if so, what are your thoughts?

It's something that I'm considering myself.

Thanks

Hello, I hope you don't mind if I jump in. I remember this thread from a while back. First off, I would recommend this to magicians at the intermeadiate and above stage. His style of teaching allmost feels hollow as he expects the watchers to already know many slieghts. It anoyed me when I watch it and he already thought we could Classic Force as good as himself. One reason I bought it was to learn the LDS which, after seeing his tutorial, was largely disappointed. I had to continue researching and practicing before I finally got it figured. All in all it would be a great buy for maybe 20 bucks, but not 30.

Thanks for that. I think that I'll put this on the back burner for a while.
