Sadly, it's not looking good for me on the 14th. I can't rule it out yet, but it is very likely that I won't be able to make it.

I shall certainly be along. Will ask the Beacon to ask Simon. How complicated things are...

It's very likely I won't be coming now as my wife is taking her driving theory test on Saturday and I said I'd accompany her. I think the test centre may be in London somewhere so I'll try my hardest to convince her that we should have a drink in the Coal Hole afterwards either to celebrate or commiserate depending on the outcome.

I shall be there although as stated I think I will need to leave for a birthday mean come 6-7pm and I will need to try to stay relatively sober....not too sober obviously.

I have asked whether Bernie Butterworth wishes to come along but his reply involved too many rude words directed squarely at Iains doorstep. I'm not sure what you've said to him Iain but his venom was venomous....especially the hand gestures most of which I didn't understand. It was like a sweary edition of "What's my line"

If you guys made me dinner most evenings, then you'd come higher up in my priorities.
