Indeed, it does bring up many problems, particularly with the newspaper headline predictions, but really with any prediction.

I believe Jim's performance may have stood out the most because of the idea of talking with a dead person. This seems to present something very serious and disturbing as being real, and surely it is not. Surely it is just a trick, or so I would say. It is certainly not entertainment as he claimed.
