New Group

Postby chrismyatt82 » Mar 13th, '05, 18:43

Hello,

I have just started a new group which I hope all from here will participate in alongside this amazing and informative group.

(Only for experienced magicians/mentalists/mindreaders, there is a small test to confirm eligibility of entry)

Is this your site? Or are you simply a user?

It is my own site I have just created. I am trying to filter out "non-experienced" users to stop random people just logging on and trying to gain secrets. Hope you come along and join =)

I suspect that this is the case with quite a few people.

Our computer guru removed all these sort of things last year for safety (at least, that was his excuse) so it's out of my reach, I'm afraid.

Magicdiscoman... if you were honest the reason you were refused was for the simple reason you could not even answer the entry question! Im sorry but you are the ONLY person who has been unable, therefore I feel you would not be suited to the group.
Please do not allow this to deter other people from joining this group. I did post earlier the reasons why there will be a question aswell. And as for the constant emails.... you can take a few seconds to change your profile to web based only. This way you do not receive individual emails.
Anyway, I hope to see alot more people there in the future.

Chris

sorry i didn't make myself clear did i
I'm not knocking your site and i hope you get lots of people who have much more experience than me.

as i did not understand the question your right to deny me access, i think one question is a fair way to judge someones experience and I'm quite happy were i am and i am quite happy to help other people in my small limited way.

Well thanks for applying anyway. I hope I never offended you as that is not my intention. I do, however wish to restrict the users of the group to my own liking, which lucky for me I have power to do. I feel that too many groups or forums are too open to who they let in. Again, thanks for trying though and good luck with the disco's and haunted key =)
