this is my absolute favorite on line advent callender,

Last years was fantastic, as it contains both secular, and non secular messages.
even before it goes on line on the 30th of november, it looks great..
very pythonesque. I love the old bag playing the organ.

enjoy. :)

just open it up, and let your mouse do the walking. clicking on the hotspot link, will explain a bit more....

Probably the best online advent calendar I've seen is this one from last year, from the advertising agency Butler, Shine, Stern, and Partners:

Don't overlook the possibilities of exploring the mantelpiece area with your mouse, as well as opening each door. It can take time for each day to load, but the goodies are generally worth it.

For a real-life one, there may still be time to order the Good Gifts advent calendar which lets you make 24 small charitable donations to families around the world.

My mummy still buys me an advent calendar every year... thankfully, it's this kind:

I must be an old goat, but I really like traditional advent calendars.

We've just bought this one. Put a candle inside and the pictures light up.

They also do an advent story book, one short story for each day of advent.

Not magic, but magical.

Good Gifts has a real one (well, two real ones, red and blue) that do a lot of good around the world. Every day you can see another little bit of help you've done by buying the calendar.
