Went to a concert on Sat at Rock City, in Nottingham, with 2 of my bro-in-laws to see W.A.S.P. (I can hear you all shouting "who are they????").

Anyway, it was an awesome gig (in my opinion) ..... I've decided that smaller really is better .... innuendo anyone ?? ..... only 1900 people at this gig, as oppose to 70,000 at my last gig (Bon Jovi), but the atmosphere at this one was waaaaay better than the Bon Jovi gig.

Took 15 vids so here they are:

Check out the next one - me, Kez and Chris make a guest appearance (around 2 mins and 5 secs):

If it's not to your taste - I'd appreciate it if you didn't rate the vids, rather than give them a c*** (not the best) rating :? .

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

Mein Gott! WASP are still going?

I don't even want to imagine what Blackie Lawless looks like these days...

I assume that codpieces are still in vogue in the WASP camp?

can't believe I put the words 'WASP' and 'camp' next to each other!! The very thought of it!! ;)

I am assuming these are not the same WASP (White Anglo Saxon Protestants) that play hate music?

Cannot access YT from work.

Nah... They're much more sophisticated than that.

In their case (if I remember rightly), WASP stands for We Are Sexual Perverts.

Singer Blackie Lawless was famous in the 80s for having pyrotechnic effects installed in his codpiece. Legend tells of one gig where it backfired and burned his bum.

They were very big among metalheads in the 80s, but faded into obscurity when guyliner and poodle perms went out of fashion.

The Headless Children was a classic album. Even though I still listen to heavy metal (a lot!) I haven't listen to WASP for quite some time.

... and let's face it, somebody had to keep Tipper Gore busy during the 80s. :)

I'm not a big fan of metal, but I do have a very soft spot for Girlschool - still rocking after, oh god, is it really 30+ years. I saw them at The Witchwood in Aston in 1992. Absolutely superb but FAR too loud for the venue. Who needs testosterone to rock?

I'm pretty sure that a massive blast of testosterone would sort the Jonas brothers out- they are by their own definition, after all, Camp Rock.

I'd love to see the Jonas Brothers on Henry Rollins' talkshow (assuming he still has one).

You could market that on pay-per-view, although it would probably be a short and bloody event.

I could see that going one of three ways. He'd either just sit there staring at them until the ran off scared, ask them deliberatly belligerent questions and mock their answers, or possibly shout in their faces and tell them to grow up until they started crying. I personally think the first or second options would be the most entertaining.
