It's Not out yet, I think next month... Guy at Nexus told me that the pre-sales are flying out the door. It's a bit pricey! But that I guess is the price for miracles. I like this one... Saving my duckets!

249 dollars, for that? I must be getting old and cynical.

i can tighten my nuts for free...

i like the look of this effect though i must say...especially where you can hold the bolt up straight and make the nut whizz off the tip...

the above sentences were for replicant....though he cannot innuendo them...

Seeing as I do I.T. for a hardware company that sells bolts, I could have a lot of fun with this! It is extremely pricey though... I'd be interested to see what else it could be applied to.

I find the claim of 'nada' magnets to be surprising (to the point where I don't believe it).

Hi Ted,

I have just put my order in for this, I can tell you though it does NOT use magnets. The whole thing is a lot more clever than that!

This is looking to be one of the best new releases of the year.

It looks very interesting. I wonder what other effects can be had from this gimmick. I too might wait to see if the price comes down.

Did you catch the typo? "Can be done with spectator objetcs" Wow! What's one of those?! lol :)

Fair enough :)

However, it looked like that to me and I would guess that a spectator will be tempted to say, "Oh, it's magnets on a string," in which case you'd need to create a presentation that suggests magnets are not used - although obviously without saying so outright :)

Depending on method you could have a magnet and some paperclips on standby in case this did happen, show the paperclips are magnetic and then move the object without the paperclips moving.

Does anyone know what kind of torque the nut exerts? What I mean is, can its turning be used to do other things?

I believe that you can also use brass nuts and bolts and that eliminates the magnet theory.
