Anyone managed to get their hands on one of these yet.
I've yet to see anything that works along these lines that is particularly reliable. Could this be the one??

This thing is so beautiful i almost don't wanna review it, i dont want anyone else to buy it. I will review it though, probably tomorrow when flu has passed sufficiently that i can focus on the screen. For now, yes, it's reliable, and awesome:)

Where did you get it from? Alakazam seem to be the only dealers in the UK but they haven't had it in stock yet.

Lately, I have developed a kind of reputation here in Canada for being able to find hidden objects (whether it be my ring, my keys, or any other item borrowed or otherwise for that matter.) Only lately, I've had magicians come up to me afterwards and say, "Is that Alone?"

No! It's NOT Alone or any other electronic gadget. I use legitimate Hellstromism which seems to go unrecognized by my peers who assume (rather incorrectly) that I must be utilizing some sort of electronic gizmo.

I'm quite sure Alone is terrific and perhaps I should pick the damn thing up as a backup (!) if my 'real' method ever fails, but I must say that my peers who assume I'm relying on technology are beginning to give me the pip!

I know Kreskin quite well and am familiar with ALL of his stage methods..except one. To this day, I STILL wonder exactly how Kreskin finds his cheque? Is he using my methodology? Is he using a confederate of some sort? Hell, maybe HE is using Alone by now but either way it's Kreskin's trademark test and for a man who (with all due respect) is not the best mentalism TECHNICIAN on the planet, I'd be quite surprised if I discovered he was relying on 'real' muscle reading.

Happy thoughts,
Paul Pacific

There were problems with the printed circuit board of ALONE.
While the idea and prototypes were seemingly working perfectly the selled and delivered final products often times didn't worked adequate.

But Christopher Taylor is very dedicated, courteous and attentive in fixing the problems and re-releasing ALONE finally in perfect conditions.

I guess it would be a good idea to wait a few weeks.

Cheers

I had heard that the delay had been something to do with the glue used to hold the thing together. If it's the circuit board I'd imagine they will be delayed for quite a while yet.

I was willing this to be very good but it has so many unnatural things to do to give you the result you need.

Yes it can do what it says but the way of getting there is not for me!

I was excited about the thought of card but that was a let down for me.

Another example is finding a hidden object you can not do this "alone" you need some help, but it does appear that you find it unaided.

Funny you mention glue I have Eclipse and that came unstuck, I fixed it but I was suprised it came unstuck.

Eclipse by the way is very good and more practical for me than alone.

I love this device, and I especially love the customer service that comes with every purchase you make with Christopher.
The thought of card routine that you see with Mathew performing can be performed just like that. I have done it this way for about 15-20 people so far and i have not received any false readings, however if i start seeing this i will change to the way the teach how to perform the thought card routine.
If anyone is hesitant on buying this, know that this device does make performing a bit easier. Concentrating on your performance is all you need to do. And with the customer service guarantee that Christopher gives the buyer is second to none.
