Outlaw Effects - Luna 1934 - 1936 & The Luna Key Box????

Postby Methyus » Dec 3rd, '09, 06:33

I have been considering buying Outlaw Effect's Luna 1934 - 1935. 1936 and the Luna Key Box as a complete set for some time, but that's quite a bit of money to shell out for a book test(s) and some atmospheric props (as beautiful as they are). I'm really surprised that no one here on TM has posted reviews for any of them.

If anyone has purchased any of these effects and could write a detailed review that would be awesome!

Thanks.

there are a number of posts on tm regarding this product, and the company as a whole that you need to search for, before deciding to purchase.

Wow... This company is charging waaaaay too much for their products to be so shady and undependable! That really sucks, but thanks for the heads-up!

I've just ordered a hideout...here's hoping it arrives in time for the 11th!

People are still getting orders on the cafe, and Roth is a regularly poster there

Wonder what happened to his replying here?

That is simply not true

Outlaw ships over 1,500 orders a year.

I have hundreds and hundreds of happy customers.

My private product forum has 2,000 members.

Yes there are 1-3% of buyers there are issues with, and that is the case with all business's

Because someone posts about their problem and the other 3,400 buyers don't post about how much they like outlaw, its always a one sided deal. I come out the evil villain

I ship 40% of all orders to the UK so believe me I like my U.K. customers and in fact have produced two major products with my U.K. customers in mind, Luna and the Homicide UK trilogy books

If I was "shady and undependable" I wouldn't be in business.

To make an assumption like that based on the exception is just not justified.

Make an informed decision based on your own experience not based on the 1-2% of buyers that there may have been problems with, and yes I do take responsibility for them

I had a UK buyer order a Witch box for $125.00 it shipped global priority and he said he never got it.

I paid to have another made and paid for express tracking to make sure the UK post didn't lose another one.

My cost after all that was -70.00 out of my pocket to make sure he got it.

Do you think thats shoddy service and un-dependable?

I know the first one shipped, and I know UK post never got it delivered.

I will say that Int. shipping to the UK and other countries is very slow, and I'm also slow due to the nature of most of my products being hand aged or hand made.

I do take this personally, so please excuse my rant, but I have over 3,500 customers and growing all the time, that is not the result of shoddy and un-dependable I assure you that.

Yes there are the 1-2% that there were issues with, and I'm to blame. But there are 98% that are very satisfied with my products and my business.

Your decision my friend.
