Lucky Me

Postby Chris Tennant » Dec 7th, '09, 22:48

Recently the Riviera Circle of Magicians held its first (soon to be annual) magic auction. Where amongst other things I got a copy of Expert Card Technique, 3rd Ed actually signed by Hugard himself. I am just showing off here and am probably about to be put rightly in my place but I am chuffed to bits with this and apparently it was originally Derek Levers own copy, till he got a 1st ed.

If it were worth anythin, Lever would never of parted with it!
Ive got Hugards autograph on volume 1 of Hugards Magic monthly.
When the magazine was first published, he signed a number of the first print runs.

Well apparently as history if the book goes, Lever sold it when he got a signed copy of the 1st ed.

Hi there,

Great book wether it's worth a fotune or not! :D

From a 'users' point of view, the third edition is superior to the first, as it has the extra chapters by Vernon and Daley.

So I'd say you were winning all round Chris. :D

Well Done,
John.
